Roposo is an Indian video sharing platform. It was launched in the year 2014. The latest version of the app has been launched on June 10, 2020. From the beginning, the Tiktok app has been embroiled in a number of controversies, including data theft. Now that you have finally banned it, you can use Roposo, Friends and the Spark app. All these apps are short video sharing apps, which are indigenous. The Roposo app is part of the government’s citizen engagement platform MyGovIndia. The Roposo app is available for both Android and iOS users. It has been prepared by 3 students of IIT Delhi. It has received 50 million downloads on the Play Store.

Z Share app launched in India last Saturday. It is a desi alternative to share brick. Data including videos, documents, songs can be transferred through it. The app is developed by Shravan Hegde of Uttar Kannada. Shravan, 21, is a student from Karnataka. So far, the app has received 10,000 downloads. The app received 5,000 downloads in the first hour of its launch.

An alternative to the Chinese app HELO, the indigenous app ShareChat
ShareChat can be used to view content including jokes, entertainment, images and videos. The user can create a profile and share their videos with friends. Currently the app is only available for Android users. It was prepared in the year 2015 by Ankush Sachdev, a student of IIT Kanpur.

Ever since the border dispute between India and China created tension, the app maker has started working on an indigenous app as an alternative to Chinese apps. So far in the desi app there were options like Bolo India, Tick Tick. It received 5 million downloads after the launch of Tiktok. It received 2.35 crore downloads in April and dropped to 1.39 crore in June. Pubji’s download was 9.9 crore in April and 6 crore in June.
